End User License Agreement

The legal agreement governing your use of GanttBoard for Jira, distributed via the Atlassian Marketplace.

This End User License Agreement ("EULA") is a legal agreement between you (either an individual or a single legal entity, "You") and the Publisher governing Your use of the GanttBoard for Jira software application ("the App") distributed via the Atlassian Marketplace.

By installing, accessing, or using the App, You agree to be bound by this EULA. If You do not agree, do not install or use the App.

1. License Grant

Subject to the terms of this EULA, the Publisher grants You a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App within Your Atlassian Cloud site, solely for Your internal business purposes, for the duration of Your valid subscription (or for the free tier, for as long as the free tier remains available).

2. Atlassian Marketplace Terms

The App is distributed through the Atlassian Marketplace. Your use of the App is additionally governed by:

In the event of any conflict between this EULA and the Atlassian Marketplace Terms of Use, the Atlassian Marketplace Terms of Use control.

3. Permitted Use

You may:

  • Install the App on Atlassian Cloud sites You control or administer
  • Use the App's features (Gantt visualization, baselines, saved views, exports, etc.) in the ordinary course of project management
  • Export data generated via the App (MS Project XML, CSV, PNG)
  • Create internal documentation describing Your use of the App

4. Restrictions

You may not:

  • Copy, modify, reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
  • Sublicense, rent, lease, sell, or redistribute the App or any part of it
  • Remove, alter, or obscure any proprietary notices in the App
  • Use the App to build a competing product
  • Use the App in violation of any applicable law or regulation
  • Use the App in a manner that causes material harm to Atlassian or its users

5. Intellectual Property

The App, including all source code, binaries, icons, screenshots, and documentation, is the intellectual property of the Publisher and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. This EULA grants You only the license expressly stated; it does not transfer ownership.

Feedback, bug reports, and suggestions You submit to the Publisher may be used without restriction or compensation.

6. Your Data

The App runs entirely on the Atlassian Forge platform. The Publisher does not receive, store, process, or have access to Your Jira data or any data the App stores in Forge KVS. See the Privacy Policy for full details.

You retain all rights to Your data. The Publisher claims no ownership or license over Your data.

7. Fees and Subscription

  • The App is free for all users through October 1, 2026.
  • After October 1, 2026, paid tiers apply per the pricing published on the Atlassian Marketplace listing. Users with 1–10 seats continue to use the App free of charge on the "Free" tier.
  • Billing and collection are handled by Atlassian on the Publisher's behalf. Your billing relationship for the App is governed by Atlassian's billing terms.

8. Support

Support is provided on a commercially reasonable best-effort basis via email: dev@getganttboard.com.

Response targets (not guaranteed SLAs):

  • Acknowledgement within 3 business days
  • Fix for critical issues within 14 business days

The App is Partner Supported per Atlassian's definition.

9. Warranty Disclaimer

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

The Publisher does not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of harmful components, or that defects will be corrected.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL THE PUBLISHER BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF DATA, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE APP, EVEN IF THE PUBLISHER HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

The Publisher's total aggregate liability under this EULA shall not exceed the fees You paid for the App in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or USD $100 if the App was used on the free tier.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Publisher from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from Your misuse of the App or violation of this EULA.

12. Termination

This EULA is effective until terminated. It terminates automatically if You breach any of its terms, or if You uninstall the App. Upon termination, Your license to use the App ceases immediately and any data stored in Forge KVS is deleted per Atlassian Forge policy.

Sections 5 (IP), 9 (Warranty), 10 (Liability), 11 (Indemnification), and 14 (Governing Law) survive termination.

13. Changes to This EULA

The Publisher may update this EULA from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the Atlassian Marketplace release notes and the "Effective date" above will be revised. Your continued use of the App after such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised EULA.

14. Governing Law

This EULA is governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the Publisher resides, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any dispute arising under this EULA shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction, except where prohibited by mandatory consumer-protection law.

15. Entire Agreement

This EULA, together with the Atlassian Marketplace Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy, constitutes the entire agreement between You and the Publisher regarding the App and supersedes all prior agreements.
