How we compare
“Runs on Atlassian” is an Atlassian Marketplace designation: the app runs entirely on Atlassian infrastructure, so your project data never leaves your tenant. Most Gantt apps for Jira are Connect apps, which process it on the vendor’s own servers.

Is it really free?
Yes. Through January 1, 2027, GanttBoard is 100% free for every team size — no credit card, no usage caps, no trial countdown. There is no asterisk.
What happens on January 1, 2027?
Paid tiers activate. Teams of 10 or fewer users stay on the free tier forever (matches the industry standard). Teams above 10 get a 30-day grace period to decide, then billing begins at $1.20/user/month for the 11–100 tier. All existing users are notified via the Atlassian Marketplace before any charge.
Do I get a refund if I don't like it?
The Atlassian Marketplace handles refunds under its standard policy: you can uninstall at any time and the prorated remainder of the current billing period is refunded automatically. There is no separate contract with us.
How is it different from BigGantt?
BigGantt is an Atlassian Connect app: it runs on the vendor’s own servers, so your project data leaves your Atlassian tenant to be processed. GanttBoard is a native Forge app that runs entirely inside Atlassian Cloud and carries the Runs on Atlassian designation — usually the deciding difference if your security review blocks Connect apps. GanttBoard is free for every team size until January 1, 2027, then free forever for teams of 10 or fewer and $1.20/user/month above that. On features, both give you critical path, baselines, four dependency types and auto-scheduling; GanttBoard adds capacity planning, facilitated standup mode and keyboard shortcuts. For BigGantt’s current pricing, check its Marketplace listing — vendors change tiers and we would rather not quote a figure that has gone stale.
Do you support Jira Data Center?
Not yet. GanttBoard is currently Jira Cloud only. A Data Center version is on the roadmap post-launch, once we have a meaningful Cloud install base. If Data Center is a hard requirement today, WBS Gantt or Structure.Gantt are established options.
